**Ongoing Exposed List — Entry #1: “Mercy” / “Mercies”**
**English term:** mercy / mercies (KJV and all English versions use it hundreds of times).
**Absolute etymology facts:**
- Late 12th century English from Old French “merci” = reward, gift, kindness, pity.
- From Latin “merces” = wages, pay, hire, reward (from “merx” = wares, merchandise, goods for sale).
- In Church Latin (6th century) twisted to mean “heavenly reward” for showing kindness to the helpless.
- Latin “misericordia” (used in Vulgate) = miser (wretched, miserable) + cor (heart) = “wretched heart” pity.
**Pagan roots exposed:**
- Roman goddess **Clementia** — personification of mercy/clemency, deified virtue of Julius Caesar. Senate built temple to Caesar and Clementia in 44 BC.
- Greek **Eleos** — daimon/spirit goddess of mercy, pity, compassion (Roman equivalent: Misericordia).
- Catholic-Christian version: “Divine Mercy” devotion, “Mother of Mercy” title for Mary (Queen of Heaven = direct Asherah/Baal system).
**Hebrew truth from Ancient Aramaic Abrayi Scrolls (what YAH really said):**
- **Racham / Rachamim** (most common for “mercy”) — from “rechem” = womb. Mother’s tender, life-giving compassion and protection for her child.
- **Chesed** — steadfast covenant love, loyal kindness, faithfulness (not “mercy” at all).
**Unique specific deception:**
English “mercy” turns YAH’s womb-love (rachamim) and covenant faithfulness (chesed) into a commercial “price paid” pity system — like buying favor or earning heavenly wages. It sounds like pagan Roman “reward for the helpless” instead of free, life-giving compassion from the womb of Abba YAH.
**Violation of YAHRAH / link to Tower of Babel & Baal worship:**
- Shemot 20:3 — “You shall have no other elohim before Me.”
- Babel confusion of languages (Bereshit 11) mixed pure Abrayi words with pagan commercial/pity concepts.
- Baal (the deity YAH hated most — destroyed altars, prophets killed in 1 Kings 18) system included false “compassion” rituals, fertility “mercies,” and Queen of Heaven (Asherah) worship — exactly the same “mother of mercy” title later given to Mary.
- Repeats Garden deception: serpent slithers in, changes one word, hides the pure womb-love of YAH.
**Why this term is heathen and horrible:**
Cold, clinical, commercial pity without Ruach turns hearts to stone — opposite of pure kadosh service (teshmeshta dakyatha w’qadishtha — Ya’aqov 1:27 Aramaic).
