The English form “Jesus” comes through Greek Iēsous (linked by some scholars to Zeus – Ie-Zeus) and Latin Iesus. The letter “J” did not exist until the 15th–16th century and was added to create this form. Pagan Greek and Roman influence replaced the original Hebrew name.

Translators replaced the pure Hebrew/Aramaic YaHUShA (YAH is salvation) with a Greek/Latin form that hides the Father’s Name (YaHU) inside it. English Bibles turned YAH’s salvation name into a generic title disconnected from the Father.
