Entry #57
1.) Absolute Etymology Facts
English “Eklesia” is the direct transliteration of Greek ekklēsía (ἐκκλησία), from ek (out) + kaléō (to call) = “called-out assembly.”
In ancient Greek it referred to the political gathering of free male citizens in city-states (especially Athens) for voting and decision-making.
Later adopted into English Bibles to translate the concept of “church” or “assembly” — hundreds of times.
2.) KITVEI HaKodesh Context and Definition
The pure Ancient Abrayi picture is Qahal (קָהָל) — “called-out assembly, congregation.”
Pure context: YAH calls His people out of the nations to form a living Qahal that meets in houses, by rivers, or under open sky (Shemot 12:3; Devarim 4:10; Acts 2:46; 1 Corinthians 16:19). It is never a building, institution, or political body — it is YAH’s set-apart people gathered under His authority alone.
3.) Pagan Ties
Direct tie to Greek democratic assemblies — the ekklēsía of Athens and other city-states where pagan citizens gathered to vote on wars, laws, and worship of false gods.
Roman equivalent was the comitia or concilium — official civic assemblies that included pagan oaths and sacrifices.
Catholic-Christian twist: “Eklesia” became the foundation for “Church” buildings, denominations, and state-controlled religion after Constantine.
4.) Language TWISTS
Translators took the political Greek Eklesia (citizens’ voting assembly) and forced it onto YAH’s living called-out people.
English Bibles turned YAH’s organic, house-to-house Qahal into a vague “Eklesia” that now sounds like a religious organization, building, or voting body.
Result: readers chase membership, buildings, and committees instead of simply being the called-out Qahal of YAH.
5.) Pagan Myths as EMET (Truth)
The Greek ekklēsía and Roman civic assemblies were never myths — they were real political gatherings of pagan citizens who voted on idol worship, wars, and laws that replaced YAH’s pure called-out people.
Serpent 🐍 deception exposed: in the Garden the enemy twisted YAH’s firm word (“Did YAH really say?” — Bereshit 3).
At Babel men sought their own assemblies and names through false unity.
6.) EXPOSED “EKLESIA” is another sneaky Greek-political-assembly-term (ekklēsía of pagan citizens and false gods) that masquerades as YAH’s people while feeding the same Baal/Babel false-gathering system YAH hates most — hiding the pure, living Qahal of the Scrolls that only YAH can call out and assemble.
