1.) Absolute Etymology Facts  

English “pastor” from Latin *pastor* “shepherd, herdsman,” from *pascere* “to feed, graze, nourish.”  

Entered Old English as *pastor* meaning one who tends sheep.  

Used in English Bibles to translate Greek *poimēn* “shepherd” — a few times (Ephesians 4:11).

2.) KITVEI HaKodesh Context and Definition  

The pure Ancient Abrayi picture is **Ro’eh** (רֹעֶה) — “shepherd, feeder of the flock.”  

YAH Himself is the Ro’eh Yisra’el (Tehillim 23; Yechezkel 34:11-16). Leaders are simply under-shepherds who feed, protect, and serve the flock without lording over it (1 Kepha 5:1-4 — “shepherd the flock… not for dishonest gain”). It is never a paid office or title — it is humble, servant feeding under YAH’s authority.

3.) Pagan Ties  

Direct tie to **Roman and Greek pastoral gods** — Pan (goat-god of shepherds and flocks) and Faunus (Roman equivalent), worshipped by herdsmen with pipes, altars, and fertility rites.  

Catholic-Christian twist: “Pastor” became a salaried church office with pulpits, titles, and hierarchy — exactly the pagan shepherd-lord system.

4.) Language TWISTS  

Translators replaced the humble Hebrew **Ro’eh** (one who simply feeds YAH’s sheep) with a Latin title of professional herdsmen and pagan deities.  

English Bibles turned YAH’s servant feeder into a vague “pastor” that now means CEO of a building, salary-receiving preacher, or career clergyman.  

Result: readers chase “my pastor,” church salaries, and titles instead of being fed by humble Ro’eh who point only to YAH.

5.) Pagan Myths as EMET (Truth)  

Pan and Faunus were never myths — they were real deified shepherd-gods worshipped by actual herdsmen with pipes, altars, and blood offerings that replaced YAH’s pure feeding.  

Serpent 🐍 deception exposed: in the Garden the enemy twisted YAH’s firm word (“Did YAH really say?” — Bereshit 3).  

At Babel men sought their own shepherds and names through false unity.
